Emil Christiansen, Sr.
Emil Christiansen is the President of Old Harbor Native Corporation. He has served on the board since 1987 and has served as the President for over twenty years. Emil is responsible for the direction and focus of the Corporation and oversees the overall management. Emil is a successful commercial fisherman who exemplifies the abilities and leadership required to build for the future while drawing upon the foundations of the past. A financial and political success in his own business and the business of the corporation, Emil is training his own grandchildren, and our community, how to embrace the changes necessary to build a successful future. Emil serves on the Management Committees of the Corporation and its subsidiaries. He has served the community and Alaska in the past through his work as a board member of Koniag Inc, the Alaska Department of Fish and Game Kodiak Advisory Committee and as a founding member of the Gulf of Alaska Coastal Communities Coalition.
