Amy Peterson is the Administrative Assistant at OHNC’s Old Harbor office. She came to Old Harbor in 1990 to visit family and has called it home ever since. Amy’s father, Robert Clough and step-mother Pamela Clough, were vocational teachers in Old Harbor. Amy has two older brothers, Glen and Jay Clough.
In 1998, Amy attended Career Academy and became Certified Medical Assistant. She brought those skills to Old Harbor and was hired as the community health aide. Two years later, Amy began her 16 year journey working for the Kodiak Island Borough School District, focusing on teaching reading, writing and math to Old Harbor students.
Together with her husband, Conrad Peterson, they have raised four children and are blessed with grandchildren to occupy their time. Amy enjoys cooking, fishing, subsistence gathering and processing, and entertaining her grandchildren.
