Esther Cetina joined Old Harbor Native Corporation as the Director of Community & External Affairs in 2022. Ms. Cetina was born in Anchorage, Alaska and raised in Anchorage and the village of Seldovia. Her mother (Quijance) and grandparents (Shugak) are from Old Harbor and lived there for many years before moving to Seldovia. She is Alutiiq and Filipino descent.
Prior to joining OHNC, Ms. Cetina had a long career in healthcare at Southcentral Foundation (1996-2022). Ms. Cetina graduated with her Bachelors of Arts in Human Services (BA) and Master of Science (MS) in Psychology and Counseling from Alaska Pacific University. In 2017 Ms. Cetina was awarded the Top 40 Under 40 by the Alaska Journal of Commerce.
Ms. Cetina and her husband have 4 children and she enjoys anything on a boat or beach and all the fishing, camping, traveling and hunting that they can fit into their Alaskan summer.
