Kala Wilson joined Old Harbor Native Corporation (OHNC) in March 2026 as the Director of Communications.
Kala is an Alaska Native shareholder of Bristol Bay Native Corporation (BBNC) and Choggiung Limited, and a tribal member of Curyung Tribal Council. She was born and raised in Anchorage, with family roots in Dillingham, Alaska.
Before joining OHNC, Kala spent eight years at BBNC, most recently serving as Senior Manager of Communications. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Marketing from the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) and a Master of Business Administration from Alaska Pacific University (APU). She is also a graduate of APU's Alaska Native Executive Leadership Program (ANELP).
Kala resides in Anchorage with her husband, daughter, and their dog. She enjoys spending time outdoors—fishing, hunting, camping, and hiking—and is active in her community through volunteer work. She also serves on the Alaska Native Professional Association (ANPA) Board of Directors.
