Billie Jean Christiansen is the Cultural Program Coordinator for the Old Harbor office.
Billie Jean was born and raised in Old Harbor, Alaska, where her early years shaped her strong connection to culture, community, and the land. She lived in the village until the age of 15 and carries those formative experiences with her today.
After spending time away, Billie Jean recently returned to Old Harbor with her three children—Chase, Myla, and Owen. She is deeply committed to preserving and strengthening cultural knowledge while raising her family in the place she proudly calls home.
