Sunhee Hwang joined Old Harbor Native Corporation (OHNC) in February 2026 as a Senior Accountant. She holds a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Alaska Anchorage and brings over 10 years of accounting experience.
Before joining OHNC, she spent a decade working with Coastal Villages Region Fund, a nonprofit organization supporting economic development, fisheries management, and social programs for Alaska Native coastal communities in western Alaska.
In her current role, she supports accounting operations, ensuring accurate and reliable financial records, and contributes to her team’s success through her professionalism and attention to detail.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her husband and sons, exploring new places, trying local cuisine, and making the most of their time together.
